Dr. Kapec is an accomplished senior consulting executive in the healthcare industry with years of experience as a Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Professional and a proven ability to lead, plan, analyze programs and processes, and develop business options that successfully achieve strategic outcomes. He has a proven leadership track record, developing, implementing, and managing effective programs and achieving results.

He provides executive level consulting support to leading clients in the Government health industry which support Defense and Veteran’s Health Programs; with companies ranging from Fortune 100 corporations, with global reach, down to a variety of small businesses.

Dr. Kapec formerly served as US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Head of Contracting Activity (HCA) and Deputy Chief of Staff-Procurement (DCS-P). He exercised Contracting Authority for the entire U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) and provided executive oversight in support of the $5 billion procurement posture within a total command budget more than $12 billion dollars, with over 26,000 military and over 44,000 civilian staff delivering leading edge health services to our warriors and military families.
